Getting Back to Nature

Could there be a better time to get back to the outdoors?

Our country is in the crapper, unemployment is going to rage into the double digits like a monsoon, and this last election has demonstrated the polarizing visions of America.

Speaking of monsoons, even if you ignore global warming and don't believe in God -- you have to agree that nature is becoming more violent. We've got full scale turmoil in the atmosphere and here at sea level.

The Answer?

Get back to nature.

We need to slow down and enjoy this world we live in. Be a kid again, and enjoy a do-over. Remember those do-overs? We stopped the kickball game long enough to agree that we were going to disagree. We didn't stop playing. We just reset the game without the contested play. Somewhere along the way we abandoned our ability to be child like and just enjoy. Now we need a winner and a final decision. Relax, breathe .... It'll be ok.

And that's why we need to get back to nature. We need to play in the sand, squish mud between our toes and wonder where the birds really do go at night...

My kids go a hundred miles an hour, but at the same time they know how to enjoy the moments. They make me want to slow down...and listen to the leaves.
